Do we want to go out? I mean I do, but flying solo isn't exactly how I roll. So if you guys want to go out I am totally down for it and I know there was a thread below about it but I wanted to start the conversation up again so we could make some definite plans. I also want to get a head count to see who would be around and willing to spend the night out. And any more ideas about where we could go would be cool too. Thoughts?
silk city and the field house are my vote. i guess we could also just cruise down like 2nd street and just wander into places that look cool, haha.

So these following places are all within like 3 blocks of there and could be fun:
The kyber (50-50 chance of fun or sad hipsters)
Paddywhacks (Grace once saw a little person Kiss cover band there)
Triumph brewing company (HOMEMADE SOFT PRETZELS NOMNOM)
Mac's Tavern (the it's always sunny bar)
Plough and the Stars (Karyn I think you'd like it there)
City Tavern (HISTORICAL REENACTORS... but for realz when its warm they have a really nice backyard area)
Lucy's Hat Shop (scummy but fun)
Silk City is further away from those but is AWESOMEEEEE. Lina you'd like it there. Also the Barbary is kind of nearby. Super hipster, but very fun. 2$ PBR. Go on the nights that it is Michael Madonna Prince.

ReplyDeleteYO! I'm going to be in lanchester till like 6ish. So, I'm leaving there and going straight into the city so I can park where I am going to sleep that night. Essentially I'm up for starting at like 9pm? 10pm? If we want to start at sugarmom's (just cause we all know it) and then leave as soon as we're all there? or we could meet at the plough? its on 2nd and chestnut. Just an idea.
ReplyDeleteOk I'm coming from CH so I guess I can take a second car...unless we all want to go in my station wagon - I think its the three of you + me + hanna so we can all fit in my car (kristy, I could either pick y'all up at James' or you can come and park at my house). This minimizes the number of DD's and the number of parking spots that we need! If this won't work I can drive Hanna down...no worries!
