Gotta love Steppy's

OK so laser bowling was...well...laser-less but bowling is still fun! Maybe next time we find a cooler post-bowling hangout. Though Steppy's was pretty classy....

Eliza and I were wondering if people would be interested in having a Superbowl party next Sunday if you dont already have plans...??? anyone? Lots of snacks, drinks, and pigskin I mean, I'm down!

Also, Trivia this week? Which night? I think Tues might work a bit better for me but I think I can do either....

Upcoming Events

HAHAHAHAH well this weekend was a gem and a half. I just want to finalize plans for this week coming up. So some of us are doing dinner on Thursday at 7PM at Estia, right? Just trying to gather my thoughts here. Is trivia in again this week? If so are we doing Tuesday at McGurk's or Wednesday at KC's Alley?

Also if anyone else has any new and exciting plans, let's do those!! New stuff might be nice to do too. Anyways just getting the ball rolling on this weeks activities. Any thoughts?

Plans for this weekend?

Heyyyyy so after you've watched the rad video that I posted below, maybe we should talk about this weekend...?

Do we want to go out? I mean I do, but flying solo isn't exactly how I roll. So if you guys want to go out I am totally down for it and I know there was a thread below about it but I wanted to start the conversation up again so we could make some definite plans. I also want to get a head count to see who would be around and willing to spend the night out. And any more ideas about where we could go would be cool too. Thoughts?

My last attempt at Restaurant Week

Hello Ladies

I have decided to try one more time at getting everyone to restaurant week!

We're now looking at Thursday Jan 27th after 6pm so that Lina can come. I looked at all participating restuarants with reservations at or around 7pm. I have three possible options in the order in which I think we should go:

1. Estia (Greek) -- there is a 7:30pm reservation.

2. Lacroix (Continental) -- there is an 8pm reservation.

Estia and Lacroix are the best deals for restaurant week as they are very expensive normally (Tweed is about the same price) so that's why I put it at #3. PLEASE RESPOND ASAP with your vote!

hey guys so i'm free this saturday (meaning tomorrow i suppose) if anyone wanted to go out or just sit at a bar or drink at my apartment whatever. i'll be around in the city (1104 spruce street apt 1 to be exact) so if anyone wants to come down and hang out, i'm cool with that. i have no internet in the apartment though so text me or call me if you're planning on coming down. the last time i'll be able to check email is probably tonight sometime so text me your plans.

LUA

i recommend we add lua to this blog. i would if i only knew how. since although she is in new york and will miss out on ALL THE FUN we will be having in philly, she's really good at blogs. i know this since not only do we have a 414 blog (for friends from penn) that she rocks but also because in the near future lua and i are planning on starting a fun history blog. and by the near future i mean potentially a decade from now. lua also has funny things to share. like the time she had to look up how to spell busta rhymes as part of her job. did i spell it right? we'll have to ask lua.

also i hope you all are prepared for random postings such as this one. i excel at them. nay i am the master at them. lua will tell you.

All: okay, going out on Saturday is a possibility for anyone who's in town or is interested. I'll be snowbro'ing all day probs so I won't be around until probably like dinner time? So I think it'd be cool to meet up and go out with a bunch of people afterwards. But if my other plans fall through or someone decides to be bitchy (it's happened), we can totes do our own thing and go wherever we feel like! My personal vote is somewhere other than the same 2 places we always go. Whether that means looking at online lists of best bars or taking advice from randos on the street, I really think it's time to explore the many, MANY other options that are out there in Old City. Any preliminary ideas?
